A Very Hipstamatic Halloween

I have finally joined the the 21st century, and purchased an i-phone.  While I am not normally swayed by the latest technological goodness, the i-phone is pretty much the best phone ever.  A monkey could work this phone (possibly why I like it so much, just imagining all those monkeys jumping around would make anyone smile.)  It is like a tiny little computer.  In your hand.  It is like something you would have imagined would be really cool back in the 80's when all of the graphics were fuzzy square shaped boxes (oh Agent USA , I remember you fondly).  The future is NOW.

Well, aherm anyway, I really like my new phone and I have a fun little app that lets you take vintage style pictures.  You can change your film, flash, and lens to create different effects.  It is very, very, fun.  These are some of the Halloween photos I took.

Don't they just look all arty and stuff?

New House

We have finally decided to buy a house.  We got the keys to it on August 9th, and we have been working hard ever since to get it ready to move into.  We are putting a fresh coat of paint on everything including the drywall in the garage, replacing the carpet and kitchen countertop, as well as upgrading the closets, and little things like new light plates and a sandbox in back for Isabella.  Isabella is getting all new furniture so that her furniture can go in the guest room.  We are planning to move in over Labor Day weekend.

Best Friends Forever?

Isabella and her hippo have been inseparable since he first came to live with us.  We all thought that they would be best friends forever.  That bond has been brought into question after this scandalous conversation.

Jason goes in to get Isabella up from her nap.  He pulls back the covers and in the process covers the hippo up.

Isabella: (Looks around)  Where is Appo?

Jason: I don't know.  I don't see him.  Where is he?

Isabella: I don't see him anywhere.

Jason: Uh-oh

Isabella: Got to get a new one at the store!

Cleaning the House Again

We just returned from Saint Louis and I am cleaning the house again.  I wish I had little rat friends...

Perry the Platypus

This is an awesome video from a show that we discovered on the Disney Channel.  It is only 1 minute so I strongly suggest you check it out.  I have just learned how to embed video in the web page and am very excited.  Now all  I can share all of my platypus themed videos!  hahaha!

As for actual photos, I am going to start slowly putting up the 2009 November and December photos.  There were just so many of them that I got overwhelmed, so I am sorting them and will be putting up a few at a time.
